§ Honest Comparison · Updated May 2026

PeptideApprove vs HolisticPayments

HolisticPayments is a high-risk processor that markets aggressively to peptide brands, including merchants other processors decline. PeptideApprove is the conservative alternative: peptide-only, LegitScript-required, and BRAM-aligned by design.

§ Verdict

Pick PeptideApprove if you want a processor whose other merchants are LegitScript-certified and BRAM-compliant. Pick HolisticPayments if you specifically need a processor willing to onboard merchants who can't meet LegitScript requirements.

The honest assessment

Where each one actually wins.

PeptideApprove wins on:

  • Portfolio compliance. Every PeptideApprove merchant is LegitScript-certified, BRAM-aligned, and has CoA testing on file. Your processor portfolio is a risk cluster — being in a compliant cluster matters.
  • Established acquirer chain. We work with two U.S.-licensed acquiring banks and disclose them under NDA before signing.
  • Pricing. Confirmed in the merchant agreement after underwriting, not published as a rate on this site.
  • Won't onboard every file. We decline merchants we cannot underwrite safely. Compliant research-use-only retailers do not need LegitScript. Clinical, pharmacy, and telehealth models are reviewed on a separate path.
  • Conservative onboarding. Same-day onboarding claims are not the timeline we publish. Eligible merchants receive a 48-hour underwriting response, and can begin accepting cards within 72 hours after complete documents.

HolisticPayments wins on:

  • Willing to onboard where we decline. If the business cannot be underwritten on a research-use-only or clinical path, HolisticPayments may still take the account. We decline files that cannot be safely onboarded.
  • Same-day onboarding claims. If marketing speed of approval matters more than the underlying compliance posture, HolisticPayments' "same-day" framing is faster than our published 48-hour underwriting response.
  • Telegram-based service. HolisticPayments operates significant communication via Telegram. If you prefer that channel, they offer it.

Decision guide

Which one should you actually pick?

If you can meet LegitScript requirements

PeptideApprove. Being in a LegitScript-required portfolio is materially safer than being in a "LegitScript-optional" one — for the longevity of your MID.

If you cannot meet LegitScript requirements

Reconsider the business. LegitScript is now functionally required by U.S. acquirers under BRAM. Processors who onboard without it are operating against the network rules and won't last.

If you communicate primarily via Telegram

That's a meaningful signal about your business model. The conservative recommendation is to formalize email + web-app communication before applying.

If your goal is a sustainable processor relationship

PeptideApprove. Aggressive onboarding processors have shorter average merchant lifespans because their acquirer relationships are also under pressure.
